The Bottega Tifernate invented the “Pictografia”technique, patented in 2000, for reproduce any kind of pictures. The art conservators, consider it the most precise method in the world to recreate a painting in its original support. Any new project is studied by our team of artists exactly as it was done in a real workshop of the Renaissance.
The study of Pictografia technique was born in 1990 and since then, it is constantly updated with the aim of recreating a work of art capable of communicating to the viewer the same visual experience and of pathos you can feel in front of an original work.
Our artists are trained in the workshop and are instructed to work with methods and recipes of ancient craft workshops. Technology has also been developed to be at the service of the manual process: it occupies only 5% of the entire processing cycle but helps us “ scientifically “ to recreate 100% of the color and shapes of the original work without being invasive.
