The fresco, by its very nature, must have a fast workmanship, on a base that is still fresh. Thanks to Pictography, it is possible to obtain a mechanical sinopia, a trace of the work to be recreated already in color and with all the shapes of the subject to be painted later. The color, based on oxides, is in fact deposited fresh, in a lime-flower base, composed only of slaked lime and sand, thus free of glues or industrial chemicals, the result of a curing process that lasts from three to seven years, and that offers unthinkable levels of realism, making the fresco appear as if it had been painted 500 or 2000 years ago. The relief on the fresco is made with plaster and natural glues, hot-poured and then gilded in leaf, while the chiseling is done with special chisels that allow the lime to be worked without subsidence of the support. Finally, the retouching is done on each piece with a very high aesthetic standard, thanks to the skillful mastery of skilled artists, trained in our workshop.Table

Until the 1500s, the panel was the most widely used medium: just think of the great works of art from the medieval period, from Duccio di Buoninsegna to Giotto. Thanks to Pictography, we are able to create paintings on board, with or without solid wood frames, handmade and available in different patterns and colors.Beauty is also a matter of time: in fact, we use only high quality seasoned wood, well dried and thick enough. The mix of chalk and natural glue spread hot, in line with Renaissance painting techniques, provides the best conditions for a perfect painting: in fact, the chalk allows the brush to glide smoothly over the canvas and, at the same time, to isolate the colors to prevent them from attacking the texture of the canvas.
